"I like to forget my camera"

So over the last few days the internet at the house has been off, right now im at the hospital (OMG) not for me though, the entire fam has been getting stomach aches sans Momma Junko and I. Over the last few internetless days I got a fresh haircut, ate sushi, drank whiskey, went to malls, saw Tomo perform at the mall, played a game of game of monopoly, ate pizza...the was a pizza on the menu that has a cheesy hotdog INSIDE the crust ;p...we didnt get that one. But as the caption above mentions I didnt bring my camera to any of these events. However....Maki did so I will post pics as soon as I get them from her computer. I am picking up more and more language here, and I walk to 7-11 all by myself wo0o0o. I'll be just another one of the locals soon enough.

Clubbin in the Rain

On saturday I ate more noodles, relaxed at home and the went to a club called Route 66 in the rain with Ken and his best friend Oonk ( mostly American hip hop and R&B). Sunday morning I gave honey (the Gold Labrador) a shower, ate fried chicken and curry at Grandma's house, and helped get a live frog out of honey's mouth (which didn't expect the slap shop I accidentally gave it while trying to sweep it out of the yard).

Malls

For the last couple days Tomo the popstar has been showing Maki and I the biggest malls in Bangkok. The day before yesterday we went to Union Mall and Siam Mall, it was a holiday so it was super crowded and because of the famous company Maki and I were keeping we were being grilled and pointed at all day long. We even passed by a huge billboard size poster with K-otic (Tomo's group). Yesterday we went to Paragon and MBK two of the more popular malls in Bangkok. We went for lunch and I got the noodles with chicken and bamboo shootes. Delicious. At MBK the escalators criss cross and have mirros on the sides. I got my food, a couple t shirts, a pair of glasses, a watch (see below) and paid for the threee of us to go see batman for less than 30 dollars. It was only about 11 for al three of us to see the movie, which wasn't even half full. Poor saps in the states have to wait a week if you didn't buy in advance.

One Day Later

Maki and I made our voyage from New York to Bangkok yesterday and it took less time than we expected. We left New York around 11 AM on July 15th, had a short layover at Narita airport in Japan, and ended up in Bangkok International Airport around 10 AM July 16th ( about 9 PM here, they are 11 hours ahead ). We flew with JAL ( Japan Airlines ) The Flights were shorter than when we visited last year, the airports gave us less hassle with our carry on luggage, and I enjoyed many’a glass of plum wine with ice while in the air. So all around this was a pretty good travel experience.
